Sangeet Bhaarati Part-1 (4th Year) and Sangeet Bhaarati Final (5th Year)


Examination Schedule and other Information

· Forms MUST be filled out by the end of JUNE; they are mailed to India at the beginning of JULY.

· The THEORY Examination is usually held at the end of OCTOBER, or the beginning of NOVEMBER.

· The PRACTICAL Examination is usually held at the end of FEBRUARY or in MARCH, depending on the availability of an examiner.

Registering for the Examinations: 

Any institution or teacher interested in the examinations for their students needs to register with the Raga Ranjani School of Music and Institute of Indian Classical Music in order to receive a center number and permission to conduct such examinations.

Teachers must hold at least a BA degree in Music and have a minimum of 5 students registering for the examinations in order to receive a separate center number; otherwise the students may take the test under the Raga Ranjani School of Music. For a diploma in Visharad the teacher should hold at least an MA degree in Music.
